Pool Resurfacing That Restores Peace of Mind

Is your pool’s plaster starting to crack or feel rough underfoot? Have you noticed unexplained water loss or ugly stains near your fixtures? You’re not alone. Failing plaster can turn any relaxing oasis into a source of constant frustration.

Many homeowners delay pool resurfacing because they worry about the cost, disruption, or the risk of choosing the wrong pool resurfacing contractors. But plaster doesn’t fix itself, and letting minor problems slide can result in more costly repairs.

At Precision Pool Restoration, we make the swimming pool replastering process as easy, cost-effective, and stress-free as possible. We focus exclusively on resurfacing plaster inground pools, so we know exactly what aging and damaged surfaces need. Our team inspects the pool interior, addresses underlying issues, and applies finishes built to last.

From pool plastering to replacing tile and coping, count on our specialists to make your pool a retreat that you’ll fall in love with all over again.

Comprehensive Pool Resurfacing Solutions

Pool Replastering

Plaster surfaces naturally become rough, cracked, and prone to leaks over time. Our pool replastering process resolves leaks, cracks, and pitting while restoring a smooth, foot-friendly finish. You can expect long-lasting water retention and a pool that feels inviting again.

Pool Tile Blasting & Sealing

Calcium buildup and mineral staining can make even a well-maintained pool look neglected. Our pool tile blasting service safely removes years of buildup, revealing the original finish beneath. We then seal the tile to slow future staining and keep your pool looking pristine longer.

Pool Tile Replacement

When tile is cracked, outdated, or no longer bonded properly, replacement is the smart choice. New waterline tile refreshes the pool’s look while ensuring proper alignment and long-term durability. Homeowners often ask for pool tile replacement along with replastering to create a cohesive finish.

Pool Coping Replacement

Worn or damaged coping affects both the safety and aesthetics of your backyard. Pool coping replacement enhances the transition between pool and deck, creating a beautiful, secure space for everyday use. When done alongside tilework, coping replacement gives the entire pool perimeter a polished, finished look.

Pool Resurfacing That Meets HOA Standards

If your home is in an HOA community, even pool resurfacing may require HOA approval, especially if you replace tile or coping that changes the pool’s appearance. We regularly complete swimming pool resurfacing projects in HOA neighborhoods and understand how to stay compliant without slowing progress.

From pool replastering to waterline tile replacement, we provide clear specifications and support documentation to help streamline approval. Our experience working within HOA guidelines helps protect your timeline, your property, and your peace of mind.

Our Pool Resurfacing Process: Step-by-Step

Pool renovation doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. We’ve developed an easy process that’s clear, transparent, and designed to keep your project moving forward without any surprises. Every pool we restore is backed by our 25‑point quality checklist and an industry-best warranty.

1

Free In-Home Consultation

A Precision Pool Restoration specialist visits your home, walks your pool with you, and inspects the surface, tile, coping, and equipment. Our goal is to understand the issue and offer practical solutions. We’ll provide a written project scope, pricing, and financing options upfront.

2

Design & Scope Confirmation

Your dedicated project manager confirms every selection in writing to avoid any surprises later. You’ll select your plaster finish, waterline tile and coping choices, as well as any related decking or repair work. Available finish options range from standard white plaster to premium pebble-and-glass aggregate surfaces.

3

Pool Drainage & Surface Preparation

On installation day, the pool is fully drained so the old surface can be properly evaluated. The crew checks for hollow spots, prepares the tile line, addresses cracks or rebar bleed, and completes the prep needed to help the new finish last.

4

Acid Wash, Bonding Agent, and Edge Work

Before applying the new finish, we clean the surface with an acid wash to remove scale and create a micro-texture. A bonding agent is applied and allowed to cure for 24 hours. Meanwhile, we complete any tile and coping work so the new plaster meets a clean edge.

5

Plaster Application & Pool Fill

The new finish is applied by hand from the waterline down. We begin filling the pool. The pool must be filled immediately and completely to protect the new plaster.

6

Start-Up, Cure, and Final Follow-Up

During the first five days, you’ll follow simple brushing and chemistry instructions to ensure a clean cure. On Day 28, your pool is ready to use again. Your project manager will complete a quality checklist review and follow-up to answer any questions.
