Design & Scope Confirmation
- Your dedicated project manager confirms every selection in writing, so there are no surprises later on.
- Your confirmation will include deck finish, coping, pavers, colors, patterns, and any new pool equipment. Decking options may include spray deck, LimeCoat, or natural stone pavers.

Surface Preparation Or Demo
The crew prepares the deck based on what’s already there.
- Spray deck or LimeCoat can often bond to existing concrete, while tile, pavers, or incompatible surfaces require a full demolition before a new topping can be applied.
- For natural stone pavers, existing concrete may be saw-cut and removed, then the sub-base is graded for drainage and compacted.

Coping, Mastic, And Deck Installation
- If coping is replaced, we’ll install a new mastic expansion joint between the coping and deck to allow movement and help prevent water intrusion, base erosion, and settlement.
- Pool deck coatings are applied after coping, while pavers are set by hand over a sand screed and finished with polymeric sand.
