## The 10-Step Installation Process

### Step 01: Free In-Home Consultation
A specialist inspects the pool, provides plain-language explanations of issues, and delivers a firm, written price proposal before any commitment.

### Step 02: Design & Scope Confirmation
Homeowners select material tiers (standard white Marcite up to premium pebble/glass finishes with 1 to 15-year warranties) and confirm all project details in writing with a dedicated project manager.

### Step 03: Pool Drainage
Crews utilize submersible pumps to fully empty the pool (takes 45 minutes to 1.5 hours). Fresh water is mandatory for new plaster to cure properly.

### Step 04: Surface Preparation
Weep holes are punched to relieve groundwater pressure, old plaster below the tile line is cut out, structural cracks are reinforced with carbon fiber staples, and rebar bleeds are treated. Failing decks or tile/paver bases are demolished and graded where required.

### Step 05: Acid Wash & Bonding Agent
The pool shell is acid-washed to clear mineral deposits and rolled with a MultiCoat bonding agent (uniform grey primer with a 5-year delamination warranty), requiring a 24-hour cure. Residents must stay indoors to avoid fumes.

### Step 06: Tile, Coping & Deck Installation
Waterline tiles and coping stones are set securely in premium adhesive/mortar beds before plastering. A flexible, structural mastic expansion joint is installed between the coping and deck to safely absorb independent soil shifting. Deck toppings or stone pavers are completed.

### Step 07: Plaster Application
Certified in-house trowel craftsmen hand-apply the finish from the waterline down to the main drains. Quartz aggregates are exposed the same day, while pebble surfaces are exposed the following day. Law-mandated VGBA-compliant drain covers are installed.

### Step 08: Pool Fill
Filling begins immediately via a designated pool hose and must run non-stop until reaching the middle of the tile line to avoid permanent ring lines. Auto-fills, pool use, and pets are prohibited during this soft plaster window.

### Step 09: 5-Day Start-Up & Chemistry Balance
Homeowners use a nylon brush daily for 5 days to clear curing plaster dust. Wheeled automatic pool cleaners, salt system activation, heavy heating (above 95°F), and direct chemical tablets are banned during initial curing.

### Step 10: Day 28 Milestone & Quality Review
At 28 days post-plaster, curing is complete, all usage restrictions lift, and normal chemistry schedules/salt systems can safely resume. The project manager completes a final quality checklist review.
